Clearly defined requirements are necessary for reliable quality in order to implement funding effectively. We design central elements of quality assurance in the context of funding. These include:
the guaranteed qualification of specialists in the energy efficiency expert list,
standards for energy consulting with the Individual Refurbishment Roadmap (iSFP),
the on-site inspection of funded building projects.
Our work makes quality measurable and strengthens the effectiveness of funding programmes in the long term.
We promote climate action and climate policy for and with people. We encourage high-quality implementation of funding measures through strategic consulting and specific instruments. We provide guidance, combine different perspectives and look for viable solutions – even when interests conflict. Through continuous real-world validation, we provide diverse elements to create an effective system of quality-assured instruments, products and processes. This system is designed to motivate people to refurbish and build in a climate-neutral and sustainable way.
Our organisational structure
The department, which has almost 90 employees, is divided into two work areas.
Consulting & support for specialists work area: This work area specifically supports specialists in the use of funding programmes and provides technical and strategic advice on the further development of the programmes. It uses its expertise and dialogue with stakeholders to ensure the efficient and practical implementation of funding measures.
Quality assurance work area: The focus here is on the concrete evaluation and quality assurance of funded projects. To this end, the team develops standards and audit mechanisms, monitors practical implementation and derives findings from this for the further development of the requirements. The department, which has just under 90 staff members, is divided into two divisions.
