Together with the international engineering firm Arup, dena has conducted a study on the topic of sustainable cooling of buildings. The study contains an overview of the potential for the use of renewable energies in buildings and helpful suggestions for reducing electricity consumption in cooled buildings. Furthermore, suggestions for effective shading and other innovative and low-cost measures for cooling are given.
